You met me at a very strange time in my life.

When everything fell apart.
When people took to the streets, demanding that all politicians step down.
When the banks wiped out their only assets.
When exchange went back in time to simple barter.
When decisions were made in the streets, through public assemblies.

Why would I have chosen to become a financial institution?
Why would I have chosen to chase money?
Why would I have chosen to be the bank?
